Diane,
Your Mom was a great person.
I'll always remember Kehoe and your Mom on a trip we took to Daufuskie with Pockets and his girl friend.
Pocks was moaning and groaning and Kehoe broke the mood with "give that cow some more rope". I never heard Pockets laugh louder.
That's one of many great memories from "the Island".
And if Jeannie "27 Oaks" thinks ther are no more old Wilmington Islanders left, just look in the mirror and think back. Your Mom and all of us were part of a very unique group.
Best of everything. Thanks for the memories.

Hi Diane,
I'm sorry that your Mother passed away. She was a very nice person, and I have really good memories of her.
Eddie Carson, my stepdad, died on the 13th of this month. Soon there will be no old Wilmington Island folks left on earth!
