I first met Fritz in Guam in 1997 and was lucky enough to get to fly with him all over the Pacific. In those formative years, Fritz taught me a great deal about flying and about how to be an airline pilot, lessons for which I'll be forever grateful. Always a gentleman, Fritz genuinely cared about his friends and fellow crew members. In my case, where condescension would have been the easy choice, Fritz instead chose to treat me as an equal and with respect. I've never forgotten that, and I never will. I wish you well, my friend.

I hadn't seen fritz in many years. The pilot fraternity is a close knit organization and I did hear from him as we crossed paths throughout the world. My heart and sole goes out to Fritz' family!

Aviation in general and Ryan International in particular has lost a good man. Fritts and I were based together at SFO and OAK in the 1990's and flew the San Francisco-Honolulu run for several years. He was always highly respected as an excellent aviator and more importantly as a "good fellow". I personally will miss him.
Godspeed on your journey west Fritts

All my prayers and love to Fritz and his family. What a great, professional co worker at Ryan. You will be missed greatly. I am currently sitting in a class talking about plotting on charts and first thing that popped in my head was Fritz and his detailed organization and detail to clarity. Enjoy heaven Commander Fritz!!

To the Lowe Family and Friends
I met Freddie when I was a corporate pilot for Union Camp and he was working at Savannah Air Service. We made friends quickly due to our love of flying. Got to know him very well when the US Navy sent me to Embry-Riddle Univ to complete my college degree. Fritz and I solved many of the world's problems at 'MACK' Donalds, as he used to say, and Morrison's Cafeteria at Daytona Beach....I think the world needs you again my friend! I can go on for pages about this man, I will keep it short. He was the most kind, decent, honorable gentleman I have met in my 60 years. One could learn much from this man. Thank you for your Service to this Great Country, it will Never Be Forgotten. Fritz, you were a true Son of the South! Bonnie and I will always love and miss you very much. You will always be in my heart Brotherman. R.I.P. Freddie.
Respect,

My condolences to the Family of Fritz. Most of the time when I saw Fritz it was at the Training Center. He was always well prepared and knew his stuff. He took his training seriously and I'm proud to have known him.
To fly west, my friend, is a flight we all must take for a final check.

Our thoughts and prayer are with the Lowe family.
I had the privilege to study with Fritz during our B-777 training enjoying the in-depth discussions we had not only about the B-777, the direction Ryan was taking and family.
Fritz you are a true gentleman and will be greatly missed!

Fritz,
We started flying the islands together and finished over the Atlantic, your journey westward is to early and you will be missed by all who have ever met you. Godspeed my friend.
Fritz touched the lives of us all at Ryan, we are better people, and better aviators for having known him. He is now and will always be deeply missed. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to call him my friend.

Fritz was one of those people that made a positive impression on every one het met. It's a rare breed of man that makes that kind of mark on his fellow pilots and we will miss him. My thoughts go out to his family, and I hope they smile as they see all the great comments from friends.

Fritz lived up to the definition of a true gentleman. His smile and kind ways is what set him apart from others. He was a wonderful pilot who made long flights more bearable. He will be missed by all of his friends at Ryan, yet will never be forgotten.
To his family, may you find comfort knowing you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time and that Fritz will live on through the many future flights dedicated to his memory.

To the Lowe Family:
I'm honored to have known Fritz. We flew together, ate together, played together. I echo all the wonderful things my fellow crewmembers have expressed. He was a good man. The memories he leaves us with are certainly full of smiles. J Daniel Coughlon
To Fritz:
I see you went out early...again! No doubt you got the flight plan, loaded the box, did the plotting, and basically went over and above to make life easier for the next crew. Our schedules may vary a bit Fritz, but we're all headed that direction. From your vantage point, maybe you could request ATC to be vigilant with the rest of us. Make certain we get the right coordinates entered, and end up at the same destination. Godspeed my friend, Dan C.
